The Great American Dollhouse Museum showcases over 200 antique and artisan dollhouses, roomboxes and buildings, furnished in remarkable detail. Hundreds of thousands of miniatures in all scales are organized in history timelines, neighborhoods and villages within the Exhibition Hall. The museum also houses a large miniatures store, featuring furniture, building components, and accessories. The shop offers bargain furniture shelves where each item is under 5.00, as well as higher end items such as Bespaq and artisan-made miniatures. I have found a rotary cutter works really well, it also cuts and doesn't tear the last part. I am new to miniatures, yours is SO AMAZING! I have bad wrists so have a hard time with cutters. Especially with xacto knives..😢

Oh my goodness. This museum is now on my Bucket List. It is an absolute treasure. I am so proud of and for anyone who has had anything to so with this historical relic. I began my collection of House of Miniature furniture with my daughter years back when the company had their stain and glazing kits. Now that these are no longer available through the company... is there another way to get the professional museum quality of finish as my first few pieces have?

Yes, Jo Jo, that is what it's made of! Alma uses high-quality, thick white foam core to make a lot of her buildings.
Have had quite a few questions lately about when we will re-open. No one knows for sure how the numbers will go with the pandemic, but we are hoping that this summer may be a possibility!

i love miniatures and i collect 1:18 action figures. its really not that different from collecting dollhouses just instead of having dolls of a family you have star wars or GIJoe figures or something, and i love displaying them in the diorama equivalent of a dollhouse, unfortunately 1:18 scale stuff isnt that common in dollhouse supplies.
